Munira Abdullahi is a champion for womens' rights, youth development, and marginalized communities
Munira was raised in the heart of Columbus and graduated from Columbus Alternative High School (CAHS). She went on to earn her degree in Political Science and International Relations from The Ohio State University. Munira began her career in nonprofit work, where she advocated for youth development, leadership, and community service. As a type-1 diabetic, she is deeply passionate about ensuring healthcare and medications are affordable, so others don’t have to endure the same struggles she faced with exorbitant insulin prices and overwhelming medical bills.
